Crystal Mosque Visit

Crystal Mosque, located in the Islamic Heritage Park, a major attraction in Terengganu is a stunning architecture built of steel and glass, which create a crystal-like appearance to it. This structure adopts a contemporary style injected with Moorish and Gothic elements.

Now, let's explore!

This is what comes into view when you reach there.
Small pools of water and an open space for taking pictures and resting.

It's a bit like the Taj Mahal as the mosque is reflected on a long pool of water,
creating a stunning view.

The exterior appearance is totally crystal-like. This characteristic makes its colour change,
following the weather or the sky colour. The "superman" was doing his cleaning work, wiping off the dust to "polish the crystal".

Corridor is built, leading prayers the way to the main entrance.

I could see multiple of this cuboid structure surrounding the mosque.

The pillars around the mosque are made of steel and glass too.

The shelter for visitors and prayers I've shown above

This is how it looks like when it turns cloudy.
The colour of it became muddy and blurry as the sky.

 A closer look

 One of the entrance found.
It is decorated with Arabic calligraphy and flowery pattern.

Looking up. A small dome-shaped decoration spotted on the ceiling.

The Muslims were chit-chatting around the mosque.
It seemed like a ceremony was held when I was there.

An open space with benches for resting and chilling

Pots and plants and a small fountain found near the restroom

I found the welcome sign board when I was about to leave.
Luckily I didn't miss out the shot.
