Weekly Journal 04

This week, we are required to finalize the concept content in our photo book. Here I will show my selected photos from all of the places visited based on the my theme(Architectural Surfaces Components and Details). I decided to make my photo book as a book of providing information for viewers about all the interesting details of my findings.

Starting from an overall look of the buildings 

and slowly go further into the detailed structures

Also to start with the overall look of the temple. 

There are varieties in the content

(windows, floor, ornaments, staircase handrail etc.) 

However, there are repetition of components between the different places 

so the photos are connected and they could be looked as a whole.

Mock Pages Layout

I have done some photo and page layout editing to find the best way of presenting my findings.

Some background would be in all white and some in black. I prefer not to put many graphics or small decoration on the background so that the viewers' focus would only be on the photos. As the final outcome, my content layout and book cover design would be in the style of minimalism. The places of interest will be separated, each started with an overall look of the buildings with a brief description, then followed by the contents.
